Acoustic Technologies offers SoundTools™, a suite of tuning, diagnostic, and test utilities to further enhance performance and ease of integration. The Real-time Audio Perfection and Integration Diagnostics tool (RAPID™) is the cornerstone of this offering. RAPID2™ is the next generation enhanced graphical tool that allows the user to easily modify programmable parameters and monitor real-time performance of the system right from their desktop or notebook PC.

RAPID2 enables optimization and tuning to match system plastics, transducers, and audio configurations shortening the development cycle. The tool can be used to monitor system performance, to enable or disable features, and to change levels for various attenuations, gains, and thresholds.

Rapid Real-Time Audio Perfection and Integration Diagnostics

RAPID2 enables real-time performance analysis and presents a single graphical view of the system’s audio performance. This graphical view provides a user with the information necessary to get the best audio performance when fine tuning the system.

Fine tuning is done real-time through the RAPID2 tuning parameter interface. No longer do engineers need to reload changes to their software. Instead RAPID2 instantly updates the parameters so that users can easily and instantly monitor the system impact.

RAPID2 supports both wired and wireless interfaces resulting in greater flexibility and ease of use. The wired interface is used for initial prototyping or analysis when logging of data is necessary for further off line analysis. The wireless interface is used for pilot production or field analysis of system performance.

The new RAPID2 is fully integrated for CSR platforms with support for PSR file gneration or configuration loading direct to flash. With expandability via plug-ins the tool offers enhanced graphing capability and scripting for system audio test and debug.
