Chief Executive Officer & President
Mr. Ackmann became
Chief Executive Officer and President of Acoustic Technologies in December 2005
and was elected to the board in November 2006. He joined the company in 2001 as the Chief Financial Officer,
and added the title of Chief Operating Officer in May 2003. From 1992 to 2001, Mr.
Ackmann served as CFO and then COO for Power Trends, Inc., a market leader in miniature
power modules. As a result of his leadership, annualized sales grew from $2 million
to $80 million and the company was sold to Texas Instruments in November 1999. With
over 29 years of experience in electronics and semiconductors, Mr. Ackmann has held
various management roles with technology firms including Hewlett Packard, Smart Scan,
Power Trends, and Texas Instruments. Mr. Ackmann earned a Bachelor of Science in
Electrical Engineering from The University of Illinois and a Masters in Management
from Northwestern University's Kellogg School of Management.

Vice President of Sales and Marketing
Mr. Jacot has been with the Company since
2001. From 1995 to 2001, Jim worked at VLSI Technology, which was acquired by Philips
Semiconductors for $1.18B during this time. After the acquisition, Jim worked on
marketing and strategic technology transition teams helping insure a smooth integration
into the Philips organization. He was involved with embedded software products at
his prior employers and holds numerous recognitions, awards, and publications.
He has held various roles in embedded software and semiconductor sales, marketing,
strategy, product line management, and engineering. He has 21 years of experience
in technology with companies including Ameritech, Honeywell, VLSI Technology, and
Philips Semiconductor. Jim has a Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering from
Iowa State University and a MBA from Arizona State University.

Vice President of Engineering
Mr. Olsen has been with the Company since 2002. His entire career has been
dedicated to real-time embedded software development for communication systems, secure
processing, and digital signal processing. Doug has had great success in getting software
into high volume mass production for consumer electronics products such as Bluetooth
mobile accessories, hearing aids, and VoIP telephony, as well as for military communication
products such as secure radios. Doug was the lead software engineer and architect for
Zounds hearing aids where Zounds was a spinoff of Acoustic Technologies. He has over
15 years of experience in embedded software development and engineering management with
companies including Motorola, VLSI Technologies, Philips Semiconductor, and Zounds Hearing.
Doug holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from Utah State University.
